Build A Snowman

The Build A Snowman Perfectly Clear Set from Stampendous is such a fun set to use.  All week the Stampendous Design Team will be sharing their creations using these cute little snowman in a variety of ways.  I'm guessing most of the projects you will see will be of multiple snowmen together  and I wanted to show that they are even cute using just one.

Build A Snowman Perfectly Clear Stamps Set - SSC1184

1.  Stamp the snowman body on white cardstock, then stamp the head and the arms. Color with colored pencils, I used Prisma pencils.
2.  Randomly stamp the snowflake with VersaMark Watermark Ink Pad and emboss with Sparkle Puff Embossing Powder.  Do the same on a folded blue card, set the card aside.
3.  Sponge blue ink over snowflakes and wipe the snowflakes with a rag to remove ink.
4.  Apply Crystal Micro Glitter to the fur on the hat using Zig 2 Way Glue Pen to adhere it.
5.  Sprinkle the bottom of the panel with Ice Blue Frantage Specialty Embossing Powder.
6.  Layer onto green and white panels.  Wrap with silver cord and add a small tag stamped with a snowflake using blue then add a rhinestone.

Double The Stencil Fun!

This Large Flourish is one of my favorite stencils from Dreamweaver Stencils and it is quite versatile and can be used for many different occasions.  Today it's used for a Thank You card, to make this the stencil was placed on a cream panel and stippled with Lettuce Adirondack ink and the edges were sponged with Vintage Photo Distress ink.  After layered onto a green panel, it was tied with green May Arts Ribbon and mounted onto a kraft colored card and edges sponged with Vintage Photo ink.  Thank You from the Stampendous Friendly Phrases Perfectly Clear Set  was stamped with Sepia VeraFine ink and rhinestones were randomly placed along with a rhinestone flower.  Tie a small tag  with a rhinestone flower onto the ribbon.

Measuring Up

This stamp reminds me of all the times I've measured my kids over the years and it brings back such happy memories.  Those are some of the moments that are truely cherished, just like the sentiment says. All background papers for this card were stamped, no decorative papers were used.

1.  Stamp glossy paper with Vintage Lowercase Perfectly Clear Stamps with VersaMark ink and brayer with Peeled Paint Ink.  Layer onto a brown card and set aside.
2.  Stamp Journal Lines on yellow paper, punch the top  and stamp sentiment from Mice Wishes set in black.  Glue to card.
3.  Stamp Measuring up on white paper with black ink, color with colored pencils and shadow around image with blue chalk.
4.  Layer onto brown paper and glue to card.

Scarecrow Kisses

I have to say I'm looking forward to fall, the cooler weather and the leaves changing colors, especially since it's about 110 degrees outside as I write this post.  My card was made using the Scarecrow Kisses from the new July Stampendous Catalog and Chameleon Pens that were so generously donated to the whole Stampendous Design Team!

Scarecrow Kisses was stamped in black, colored with Chameleon pens.  A goldenrod card was stamped with Leaf Background with lettuce ink.  A rust panel was stamped with kind friendship in rust ink and glued to the bottom of the goldenrod card.  Chunky Metallic Seasonings Embossing Enamel was sprinkled on the card and heated from underneath so it wouldn't blow off. Happy fall was stamped on an oval with black ink, sponged with rust ink and popped up.
